Class Descriptions

Try It Classes

Try It classes are offered for Hoop, Heels and Pole. They are perfect for anyone brand new to classes. Students will learn foundational movements and build strength.

Intro to Pole

This is a series of classes for new students who have no pole experience, or are getting back into classes after some time off. Students will learn foundational movements, how to harness momentum, and build strength.

Pole Level 1

In Pole Level 1 students will keep working on foundational movements and strength exercises. Students will learn a variety of spins and transitions, as well as how to put them together to create mini choreographies


Pole Level 2

In Pole Level 2, students will explore more challenging spins, tricks, and transitions. Students will learn to climb the pole, sit on the pole, and even go upside down with basic inverts. Strength training will increase, and you will continue to work on putting movements together.

Pole Level 3

In Pole level 3 students will be spending more time in the air and upside down. More inverted tricks are taught. Students will work on climbing and transitioning into movements higher up on the pole. Students will continue to learn combinations.


Pole Level 4

In Pole level 4 students will be focusing on using a variety of different grips such as the inner thighs, hips, and knee pits. The conditioning becomes more challenging to ensure your body is prepared for subsequent levels.

Pole Level 5

In Pole level 5 students will be learning tricks with reduced points of contact or more challenging entries, in a variety of different grips including knee pits, elbows, arms, waist, etc.

Pole Level 6

In Pole level 6 students will be continuing with reduced points of contact or challenging entries, in a variety of different grips including knee pits, elbows, arms, waist, etc. This is the level where we begin to learn the coveted Ayesha, and other tricks that focus on flexibility and strength.

Intro to Hoop

This is a series of classes that are an introduction to aerial hoop. No experience is required. You will learn hand grips, body positioning in and on the hoop, as well as hanging from the hoop. Participants with aerial hoop experience from previous sessions will be given level appropriate skills to work on. 

Hoop Level 2

This class includes more difficult tricks and skills on the hoop. Students must be able to invert, delilah pull up into the hoop to sit, and under bar pike. Instructor approval required to book this level.

Heels Choreo

Heels are choreography based classes. Students must have taken an Intro to Heels series unless specifically advertised otherwise.
Students can expect to wear heels through the entire lesson - warm up, specific skill development, choreography and routine learning, and for the cool down. Students may borrow heels from the studio or bring their own pole - specific heels (brands such as Pleasers, Hella Heels, etc.). Knee pads are mandatory for all Heels classes and can be purchased from the studio at the time of your class.

Intro to Heels

Intro to Heels is a series of classes for new students. These classes are beginner focused and teach the basic skills required for Heels classes.
Students can expect to wear heels through the entire lesson - warm up, specific skill development, routine, and for the cool down. Students may borrow heels from the studio or bring their own pole - specific heels (brands such as Pleasers, Hella Heels, etc.). Knee pads are mandatory for all Heels classes and can be purchased from the studio at the time of your class.

Strength and Conditioning

This class is good for students at all levels and in all disciplines of aerial arts. Strength and conditioning classes will be focused on building overall strength and targeting specific muscle groups to help students achieve their goals. Every exercise can be modified so that students are always working safely and gradually.

Flexibility Class

Designed for students who desire to gain flexibility in their pole practice. Students will gently and gradually work on ending poses including bridge, middle splits, front splits, and pancake. Flexibility is required for certain tricks and moves in pole.

Open Practice Sessions

Open Practice sessions are an opportunity to come to the studio to practice. There is no teaching during open practice. If space provides, practice can be for both pole and hoop but functions on a first come - first serve basis. Please clarify at the time of booking which apparatus you would like to practice with.
